Craft & Vision
Horsehair, used since the Bronze Age, was vital across Siberian cultures for its strength, lightness, and versatility. Peoples of the Baikal region used it for sewing, weaving, and ritual items.
Our work is based on the use of natural horsehair and is entirely handmade, using techniques such as hand weaving, as well as dry and wet felting. The decorative elements feature a variety of traditional embroidery methods, including goldwork and Luneville embroidery. We also incorporate national techniques — such as Yakut horsehair weaving and felting — blending heritage craftsmanship with modern decorative standards.
Our work also features natural materials such as leather, suede, cotton, and linen.
Horsehair is a remarkable yet unfairly forgotten material. Its unique properties — such as flexibility, durability, and natural texture — make it ideal for use in contemporary design. We value horsehair for its enduring qualities and deep cultural significance.
Each piece is one of a kind, thoughtfully handcrafted using high-quality natural materials.
