Edible Flowers Carnation Seeds
The taste of the Carnation flowers is sweet and spicy, with a pronounced aroma.
Glazed flowers. Whisk the egg white into a coarse foam. Rinse and dry the Carnation flowers with paper towels. Dip them in protein and then sprinkle with powdered sugar on all sides. Be sure to blow off any remaining powder. Line a baking sheet with parchment and place the sugar flowers on top of it so that they do not touch each other. Place the baking sheet in the oven on low heat with the door ajar or turn on the fan. Dry the flowers for 5-7 hours. Then let them cool completely and place in dry, airtight glass jars.
